China 10/09/2026: The Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team put up one of the strongest performances of the AHF Junior Asia Cup 2026 on Thursday, defeating bitter rivals Pakistan 19-0 in the quarterfinal to advance spectacularly to the semi-finals.

After winning their group and defeating South Korea, Malaysia, and Japan in the first round, the defending champions had a lot of momentum going into the knockout stage. India did not take long to establish its dominance. Two minutes after Puja Sahoo’s goal in the seventh minute, Roshni Aind extended the lead. Tanushree Dinesh Kadu and Sukhveer Kaur soon joined the scoring rampage as India’s offensive waves overwhelmed Pakistan’s defense.

India dominated the first half with goals from Geeta Yadav, Tanuja Toppo, Pooja Malik, and Purnima Yadav. The scoreboard read 10-0 by the interval, essentially confirming the outcome. However, India did not appear to slow down after the intermission.

One of the afternoon’s most notable acts was Malik. She finished her hat-trick with goals in the 49th and 51st minutes after scoring in the first half, highlighting India’s brutal efficiency inside the circle.

Supriya contributed two goals, and Binima Dhan and Krishna Sharma also scored. Roshni finished India’s remarkable tally with another goal in the final minute, finishing the contest at 19-0.
